What is the case converter?
The case converter changes the letter case of any text in one click: lowercase to uppercase, headline-style Title Case, or programming formats like camelCase and snake_case. It saves you from retyping and is handy for writers, marketers, store owners and developers.
How to use it
- Paste your text into the first box.
- Click a conversion button; the result appears instantly in the second box.
- Click “Copy result”, or try another format on the same text.
The formats explained
- UPPERCASE — every letter capitalized, for notices and acronyms.
- lowercase — every letter small, for normalizing data such as emails.
- Title Case — each word capitalized, common for article and product titles.
- Sentence case — only the first letter of each sentence capitalized.
- camelCase — joined words, first lowercase, used for JavaScript variables.
- PascalCase — every word capitalized, used for classes and components.
- snake_case — lowercase words joined by underscores, common in Python and databases.
- kebab-case — lowercase words joined by hyphens, ideal for URLs and file names.
- CONSTANT_CASE — uppercase with underscores, for constants.
- iNVERT cASE — flips the case of every letter.
Practical uses
- Store owners: turn ALL-CAPS product titles into clean Title Case and create kebab-case product URLs.
- Writers: fix text typed with Caps Lock on without retyping it.
- Developers: quickly convert field names between language conventions.
Languages and privacy
The tool handles accented French letters like é, à and ç. Arabic letters have no case and stay unchanged, while Latin words in the same text are converted. Everything runs in your browser; your text is never sent to a server.
